Palin is so toxic now no one will touch her. I don't see the Tea Party doing anything but retreating. T Shirts that say, "we came unarmed this time?" It's over.

No President Palin. I cannot help but hear the final sigh of relief from Pawlenty, Romney, and others.

They knew she'd blow it --- just a matter of time.

Democrats need to insist the wording of the repeal health reform bill to be voted on next week be changed and the word "killing" dropped from the title of the bill.

Or we ain't got a hair on our......

Terrorism is the use of violence (or the threat of violence) against civilians in order to attain goals that are political or religious or ideological in nature; this is done through intimidation or coercion or instilling fear.

The radical right-wing in this country is a terrorist organization and they are successfully subduing liberals.

Let's think outside the political rhetoric box for a minute.

The mass murderer in Arizona had no political affiliation or religious affiliation that has not been reported.

Is it possible that the Hollywood producers of movies and televison shows that elevate violence as an artform had more influence on this poor soul than do the people who openly discuss the future of our country?

I'm just saying.........

two negatives make a positive.

Meanwhile, don't retreat, reload.

Palin's presidential aspirations ended on Saturday. Her irresponsible rhetoric, along with Beck, Limbaugh, et al, played a role in this.

He didn't shoot up a dairy queen.

And another thing, Loughner actually did, in practice, what way too many members of the Tea Party right have nudged-nudged-winked-winked at in speeches and statements.

Loughner really did “pursue Second Amendment remedies” for his grievances with the political process.

Loughner really did do with bullets what ballots could not.

Loughner really did attempt to thwart a government he felt was destructive of his liberties by any means necessary.

Ultimately, it’s beside the point whether he was following the proverbial marching orders of these noxious figures or the less direct statements of others, just like, say, making light of rape has nothing to do with whether you actually raped anyone.

The point is that when you see the stuff they’re jawing about in action, it’s not patriotic and brave and all-American, it’s not cute or passionate or funny or just red meat for the base, it’s a fucking horror show, and it’s not okay at all.

I hope that with Palin's last 8 minute rant, we will finally see her political denouement.

Anon 3:12 - bless you for saying what I've been trying to say for days.

Once you see the Tea Party suggestions in action it's not pretty. This is exactly what they talk about, threaten, suggest, etc. and I don't think they ever entertain the consequences of their words and images.

Maybe they will now, I doubt it, I think they will reload.

That was brilliant, my friend. That really says it all.
