Ball Game Tonight! Gonna Go Watch The Grandsons Play Ball Tonight

I am proud of my grandchildren. Trey, Austin, Sophie and Sadie. Two boys and two girls. They live next door so I am fortunate enough to see them every day.

Sadie, who's two, will walk over and knock on the door, as good as a two-year-old can, and say, "Hello Grandpa!" Sometimes I think she says "PeePaw" but I'm not sure.

Couple of nights ago Sadie and I were horsing around and she threw herself backwards and I lost my grip and she slipped out of arms and fell on the floor. I felt like....well, I felt pretty bad. It's one thing to drop a wrench or a coffee cup, but to drop Sadie! Oh, my.

Anyhow, the boys are in a fall league baseball team. Trey plays first base and pitches, Austin plays third base and outfield. Both of the boys are pretty good hitter and, once they learned how to run, have turned into pretty good runners. Trey plays 7th grade football at Jarrett also.

Their first game is tonight.

I'm going.

Katie Casey was base ball mad.
Had the fever and had it bad;
Just to root for the home town crew,
Ev'ry sou Katie blew.
On a Saturday, her young beau
Called to see if she'd like to go,
To see a show but Miss Kate said,
"No, I'll tell you what you can do."

"Take me out to the ball game,
Take me out with the crowd.
Buy me some peanuts and cracker jack,
I don't care if I never get back,
Let me root, root, root for the home team,
If they don't win it's a shame.
For it's one, two, three strikes, you're out,
At the old ball game."

Katie Casey saw all the games,
Knew the players by their first names;
Told the umpire he was wrong,
All along good and strong.
When the score was just two to two,
Katie Casey knew what to do,
Just to cheer up the boys she knew,
She made the gang sing this song:

"Take me out to the ball game,
Take me out with the crowd.
Buy me some peanuts and cracker jack,
I don't care if I never get back,
Let me root, root, root for the home team,
If they don't win it's a shame.
For it's one, two, three strikes, you're out,
At the old ball game."

These are the events in life that enable us to,

CELEBRATE LIFE!!!!!!
