He's Back!

Since he got back from his Florida vacation defeated Republican candidate Steve Helms has been a busy man churning out morning letters to the SN-L on a variety of subjects with a common theme: "I really don't know what I am talking about but I like to see my name in print."

His latest diatribe is in this morning's paper: Bullying Law Would Burden. It is not much different from his letters of 06/19/2007; 07/13/2007; and July 24, 2007.

Compared to the millions he has been pumping into state and national political contests, $6,400 may not seem like much, but that's the amount billionaire Rex Sinquefield of the educational voucher-supporting Show-Me Institute dropped into Republican Steve Helms' unsuccessful effort to unseat Sara Lampe, D-Springfield, as 138th District State Representative. Read the full posting in The Turner Report.

Knowing that, how can we take anything Helms says about education seriously. Does he really expect us to drink the kool-aid he is pro-offering his morning letter to the SN-L.
Our friend over at Ozarks Politics has quite the say on the man.

Steve: You don't have to write a letter to the editor everytime the SN-L mentions Sara Lampe. We all remember that you lost the election to her. You don't have to remind us why, your letters do that for us.

Oh, and one other thing, Steve: If you could write simple, short declarative sentences in chronological order with paragraphs that are topically related to the subject of discussion you might be able, as most readers are, to see the flaws in your logic.

There's a resemblance to George Jetson when he zooms around on that outfit. I read the Turner Report too-doesn't surprise me one bit.
