Long Announces His Staff to Hold District Listening Posts
in September because Billy was too busy in August to host them himself, what with his GOP bus tour with Todd Akin and Roy Blunt. Besides, if he hosted them himself, constituents would have the opportunity to ask Billy the tough questions he doesn't want to answer (why did you spend $6500 in campaign funds on meals and why are you using campaign funds to fly to Las Vegas?) or the tough questions he can't answer(Why are you co-sponsoring H.R.3, H.R.212 and H.R.374?)
So, we get this press release from Billy Long... It won't be him, but it will be his staff. We hope they will pass the information on to Billy. It ain't much but it's all we got.
SPRINGFIELD– U.S. Rep. Billy Long today announced that his staff will be hosting another round of District Listening Posts beginning on Monday, September 17, and running through Friday, September 21.
“The District Listening Posts are a great opportunity for my staff to get out into the community and hear directly from you and also be able to assist you. The District Listening Posts are a service we provide to answer your questions, assist you with ongoing casework, or open new cases to address your concerns with a federal agency,” Long said. “I encourage all residents in the district to take advantage of these listening posts because we cannot be of assistance unless we know of your issue. As always, constituent service remains a top priority of mine.”

I'm delighted Long is dispatching his army of staff 'listeners' to hear what's on our mind. He is making every effort to make it convenient.
Where the f#@*'s Willard?
Hope to bump into that goofy monkey Curtis at one of these events.
Hells bells why not Ash Grove on the Greene County line?
I will participate on one condition that all the "Listeners" show up as Billy impersonators and tell dirty jokes.
