Majority Believe Obama Is A Plagiarist, But Not Sure What The Word Means Exactly
Stuff found surfin' the web:
A new AP poll shows that the Clinton campaign's latest attacks against Barack Obama may be backfiring due to their use of highfalutin' language."The vote is the most powerful instrument ever devised by man for breaking down injustice and destroying the terrible walls which imprison men because they are different from other men." B. Obanna
A full seventy-three percent of respondents admitted to not being certain what the word 'plagiarism' meant, but figured it had a generally positive meaning, a trend exemplified by the reaction of Skeeter Jackson from Fort Worth, Texas.
"I usually vote Republican, but this year I just don't know. Old Georgie done got us into a river of shit, and I'm kind of scared that McCain has done passed his lifeguard years. That boy Obama, on the other hand, he seems like a real plagiarist, the kind I wouldn't mind having for a neighbor. Not like that snooty bitch Hillary."
Among those who reckoned they pretty well understood what plagiarism was, the reaction was even more positive.
"Let's say you're sitting there trying to get something writ down," explained Cindy Ellison, a Toledo waitress who had planned on voting for Clinton before the plagiarism charges arose. "You know what you want to say, but you just can't think of the right words, so you get on the computer and look around till you find something. Now you've got some good words - that's smart. Speaking for myself, I don't want to vote for somebody that's just too lazy to plagiarize, and shame on Hillary for trying to make it sound like a bad thing."
