Roy is apparently preoccupied with the kid while the wife chastizes Billy.
I can imagine Roy telling the kid to wait until Mommy is finished talking to the big man.

Oh Billy Long loves to tell the racist jokes. There is a reason he put a black man on his Web site.
What about Billy Long? Long has sweated in that same shirt and khaki's throughout the election. Doesn't he have anything else to wear. He probably wants us to think he's an average guy struggling to survive and just doesn't have enough money for clothes right now as he heads home to his gated community sealed off from the rest of us struggling to make ends meet.
