Possum Trot Festival - - - Walnut Grove This Weekend
After a fun-filled Labor Day parade here in Springfield (some pictures are here and some more are here), the Horsefarmer and I are bringing the stagecoach and the bus to this Saturday's parade in Walnut Grove to do some old style campaigning! We hope to see you there!
The parade starts at 10:00 a.m. Big Smith plays later on in the evening. Here is some more information about the dew-ins from the SN-L.
Walnut Grove is in northwest Greene County, about 20 miles from Springfield. The best route is 160 west through Willard to highway 123 to BB, passing though Pearl and Harold.

We LOVE Big Smith. They are playing at MSU this weekend too. So is Jim and Kim Lansford. They are a great blue grass band from MO.
