Had an interesting discussion with a long-time Republican operative on Saturday who had pretty much resolved the Billy issue in his mind. Apparently he has known Long for 40 years and had some business
dealings with him.
He has resolved in his own mind, Billy's terms in Congress as follows:
1. Billy will vote the Republican position 99.9% of the time.
2. Billy will never have the intellectual capacity to perform leadership on any issue.
3. Billy will be good for lots of laughs.
4. It will take the next two generations to recover from his terms in Congress.
5. We are pretty much 'frigged'.
I's afraid the stickers were in reverse order
It should be
FED UP (with sic)
BLUNT
I will get those two stickers and put them on my truck

Word from family in Kansas City that the Carnahan ads are beating Blunt and that she will carry the area, big-time.
And they usually vote Republican.
