The driver of DEI's Bass Pro Shops #1, Martin Truex came in 5th in today's race. For those Bus riders who don't follow NASCAR, following is an inside glipse into the world of NASCAR strategy:
The coolest part of this video, which I have seen before, (bus, you are getting rusty)is reading the trailer running across the bottom of the screen. "What type of addiction is best for your body type? Tune into Today Now from 8-11." I gotta get cable so I can see that episode.
After attending several NASCAR events over the past eight years, including every event staged at the home of NASCAR, it is my simple conclusion that NASCAR racing is very exciting when the drivers go fast and turn left...of course what makes it most exciting is when they go fast and then turn right....just so long as they all walk away...
Judging from the wreck that occurred during the final laps, I'd say those drivers know how to go fast and turn left, but it is the going fast and turning RIGHT that causes all kinds of problems. horsefarmer
Mathematically proven the Best Blogin Springfield and worrisome to Billy?
"Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming...Wow! What a ride!" Melvin Trotter 1924-2006

I've got opinions about dang near everything. Not only that, I'm retired so I've got the time to tell you them. I keep my mouth shut and my ears open and read a lot. Sometimes I add 2 + 2 and get 5, sometimes I add 2 + 2 and get 4. I strive to abide by the "Fina Philosophy" that "Old Lonesome George" espoused: Work hard, sell a good product, don't try to kid anybody.

As Ricky Bobby would say, fifth place is the fourth loser! :)
Trey and Austin used to have this stupid game that everytime someone mentioned "Jeff Gordon", everyone would spit. It was funny for awhile.
Kyle Busch is becoming quite the driver, less boo's and more cheer's. Sort of what I had hoped Martin would have been.
I will always like Michael Waltrip and would like to see Bass Pro Shops sponsor Tony Stewart. I think they did once.
