May 7, 1949

The nurse is at work, it's raining and the grill is out of propane. The kids are busy and the dogs never did like me. It's my birthday and I am all alone, what will I do?

That photo's an obvious fake, we all know he doesn't know how to write.

A big Happy Birthday to ya, BP! By the watch, it does say that it's close to beer-thirty.

CDM--Nothing beats listening to the dead and drinking Miller High Life out of Styrofoam cups, my daughter gave me a cup dispenser for Xmas.
Jason---got out early to watch the boys play baseball last night. Trey pitched himself out of a jam. Austin was catching and did a dang good job of it too. It was and is fun to watch! They are over here now, fixing their own ramon noodles and telling me about the game. It don't get much better than this.

somethings are best shared with only your thoughts....just remember, you're still my big brother...HAPPY BIRTHDAY JIM LEE...
I'll never forget back in 1970 you were home on leave and you wrote my name on my forarm on my birthday night....man I got in trouble for that...if only you had NOT used a thick black magic marker...wish I had one now to return the favor....oh, and by the way I nominated the guy who invented those small metal cans that hold 12oz of cold beverages for a medal....Happy B-Day Jim Lee

Doggone it, Jim! My DSL was messed up all night last night, after a full day of getting bumped off line and I just got back on a little before noon today, I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it lasts!

Anyway, looks like I missed the party. Happy BELATED Birthday!

Hey, Happy Birthday, Jim, and many more! ... love the Dead tune with video ... How come I have more grey in my hair than you ... oh, yeah .. I'm a year older ... that must be it! Glad to see your Jeep Addiction is back in full gear ... that has to be a good sign ... what year was it when we drove over towards Cabool and brought back that old Army jeep?

I got good news and bad news for you. The bad news is the batteries don't go with the jeep, the good news is you get new to buy new batteries!

Remember, I borrowed my brother's fire engine red pickup with the emergency lights on top! What a trip!

I am about ready to go to Steamboat Springs, Colorado to get this orange jeep.....
