I thought this might be on Sunshine, west of National. My wife thinks it might be on Kansas and West High What do you think? Bonus points for identifying the year, the make of automobiles and make of the AAA ambulance.
I defer to Long Roof, but I do remember AAA ambulance.... drove 64 Cadilacs but maybe mistaken. Look at the pics and see how far we have come in EMS (ambulance) response... Enjoyed the pics sent to me,,,,,, no neck collar, no back boards, have we come a long way baby????
Okay, you guys with all the cool old photos...I'll bite on this one also...the wrecked car in the yard is a 1957 Chevy Belair 4 door sedan, the other auto involved in the accident is a 1959 Pontiac probably a Bonneville, the car parked next to it is a 1956 Plymouth Savoy. The ambulance is a 1954 Cadillac Superior. The location of this accident is, most likely, somewhere in west Springfield as that stone style of construction is most prevalent in that area of town. And the shoes on that woman on the stretcher on the corner, those are 9-West.
Mathematically proven the Best Blogin Springfield and worrisome to Billy?
"Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming...Wow! What a ride!" Melvin Trotter 1924-2006

I've got opinions about dang near everything. Not only that, I'm retired so I've got the time to tell you them. I keep my mouth shut and my ears open and read a lot. Sometimes I add 2 + 2 and get 5, sometimes I add 2 + 2 and get 4. I strive to abide by the "Fina Philosophy" that "Old Lonesome George" espoused: Work hard, sell a good product, don't try to kid anybody.
