Saturn's Going, Can Uranus Be Next?

back when I was kid, my brothers and I used to go to new car showrooms to watch the introduction of the year's new models.

I could tell you the make and model of just about every car I saw.

Now, all the cars look alike to me. Honda, Toyota, Fusion,
Saturn---oops, not Saturn! GM is phasing it out, it will be gone by 2012.

Remember when Saturn was introduced? It was supposed to be a new type of car company, down south--an alternative to Detroit's motor city.

It's going fast.

Meanwhile, how about
fast trains?

Yeah and Pluto is gone also...

So, I recognize the Renault and the SAAB's but what make is the car in the center of those three parking in front of Wigwam Sportcenter? And that ragtop to the far right?

C'mon...help a brother out...

and Nike? What's Nike?

I am all for the trains. But I do wish they would put one from Springfield to St. Louis and/or KC. Mass transit is a good thing.

come on longroof...the center car is none other than a FIAT...how could you miss that...?????....
as for the far right car...have you looked at an older Triumph lately....open rear fender well....white wall tire....I thought you were a littel more informed....guess you need to stick with the 84 F-150's.....

Ed, you are right. The photo was taken in 1958 and here is a photo of a 1958 Fiat.

I still think the car on the far right is a 1958 MGA.
