Don?t you know, they?re talkin? 'bout a revolution
It sounds like a whisper
Don?t you know, they?re talkin? 'bout a revolution
It sounds like a whisper
While they?re standing in the welfare lines
Crying at the doorsteps of those armies of salvation
Wasting time, in the unemployment lines
Sitting around, waiting for a promotion
Don?t you know, they?re talkin? 'bout a revolution
It sounds like a whisper
Poor people gonna rise up and get their share
Poor people gonna rise up and take what?s theirs
Don?t you know, you better run, run, run, run, run
Run, run, run, run, run, run, run
Oh, I said you better, run, run, run, run, run, run, run

Run, run, run, run, run
'Cus finally the tables are starting to turn, talkin? 'bout a revolution
'Cus finally the tables are starting to turn, talkin? 'bout a revolution, oh no
Talkin? 'bout a revolution ,oh
While they're standing in the welfare lines
Crying at the doorsteps of those armies of salvation
Wasting time in the unemployment lines
Sitting around waiting for a promotion
Don?t you know, they?re talkin? 'bout a revolution
It sounds like a whisper
And finally the tables are starting to turn, talkin? 'bout a revolution
Yes, finally the tables are starting to turn, talkin? 'bout a revolution, oh no
Talkin? bout a revolution, oh no, talkin? bout a revolution, oh no

Hey, unless the people wake up this country is going to look like a third world country. Only they can change things.
I was in Downstream casino this last weekend and since I don't frequent casinos I have to say I was shocked. I expected business to be down and to my surprise it was a packed house and an ocean of white hair, wheelchairs, walkers etc.
I thought the elderly were poor and couldn't afford medicine? Seriously, I've not seen so much money going --- into of all things ---- slot machines in my life.
Real eye opener. Trust me, the elderly must have done okay and it looked to me like they could afford a tax increase, no problem. I doubt they were spending their Social Security checks. They had a heck of a lot more money than the working folks today (me) to blow on nonsense.
Just sayin'. Make a trip down there and see for yourself.
Shocking.
