Due to a possible defect in the original manufacture of some of the current New York State license plates, some people at the Capitol in Albany, including the governor, have decided it is time for every vehicle registered in New York to get a brand spanking new license plate next year.

I remember when Springfield required city stickers on all vehicles registers in the city limits. Is this something that needs to be looked at again, as a revenue enhancer?
