Getting The Bus Ready For The Labor Day Parade....

  1. Ah...now we know the banners other than yellow didn't have a chance...you have to match the bus! :)

  2. More people voted for black on yellow than the other two color combinations.

    And was I glad! :)

Will I see you and the boys at the parade tomorrow? It goes down Campbell.

My son is driving the bus, my brother is bringing his miniature stagecoach and I will be walking in between them. Either the stagecoach driver or the bus driver will be throwing candy to the kids.

  3. Jim,

Please share with your loyal readers your 100 day plan to turn the clerk's office around. This would be so exciting to read on your blog. Almost as fun as the Life of Jason Vs. jackehammer feud on special needs kids and if Ms. Palin can both be a heartbeat away and be the Mom that Limbaugh say she is. No sure about yellow on yellow. BTW saw some old buses near Seligman MO you should check out.

  4. Seriously, Jim, do you think you can take care of a blog with...ahem, "special" attention needed and be a good clerk. I mean, the stapling, laminating, collating, getting coffee for the boss, all those clerk like duties, and the plunge....I think jackehammer is going to do one of her hard-hitting blog post on you.

As always, I love ridin' the bus...if the short ones.

  5. Obviously anon is a cynical reader without the guts to declare. These guys give the industry a bad name. C'mon bus rider (with car sickness), come out, come out wherever you are! You wimp

  7. Wimp....why I oughta.....okay you are right....but wait a minute, you are anon as well....maybe you are the one killing the industry, cottage as it is. I am a proud bus rider, I will be there tomorrow cheering Jim on in his odyssey to become the next city clerk....fighting evil and city corruption....doing interviews with Jason of Life of Jason (Life of Jason is sponsored by Avon, remember if it is not Avon, it ain't $&*@) and all the things that go along with being city or county clerk. How about this as a quote to secure the right-wing of your party..."they will have to tear my staple gun out of my dead, white hands"

    Ah, enjoying the high life!

  13. I believe I'd choose the song Pink Cadillac over the other option you've offered. But, considering there seems to be a bit of car sickness going around, might be a good option for the bus!
